Limiting herself to a deep, soft, sky blue gently accented with green, violet, pink or white, Karen Gunderson has created on her tranquility horizontal panels an infinite variety of eloquent cloud idioms. These cool, restful, swirling masses portray the many facets of celestial formations. Whether it is the burbling of highlighted cumulous clouds, the burgeoning of a single nimbus, or the coagulating of an oncoming thunderhead, all are rendered sensitively with an elegant economy of paint. A lovely show.
